Joseph B. Tumminaro

Joseph B. Tumminaro is an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Al Kola. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. During law school, Mr. Tumminaro served as a law clerk with the Cook County, DuPage County, and Boone County State’s Attorney’s Offices. After graduating from law school, he became an Assistant State’s Attorney in Winnebago County and later served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in DuPage County. During his time as a prosecutor, Mr. Tumminaro handled thousands of criminal cases involving traffic offenses, driving under the influence, domestic violence, general misdemeanors, and felony matters. He has prosecuted numerous jury and bench trials and has handled a wide range of pre-trial and post-trial hearings. His practice focuses on criminal defense, criminal traffic matters, expungements, and orders of protection.
